Operations Generalist

We are seeking a versatile and motivated individual to join our team as an Operations Generalist. You will play a critical role in supporting our co-founders and the broader organization. You will be responsible for providing high-level coordination, air traffic control, and support across the team to ensure that goals and objectives continue to be met. You will also be responsible for executing tasks that would otherwise fall on the co-founders, either directly or through collaboration and delegation.

The ideal candidate for this position will be a proactive and detail-oriented individual with strong problem-solving skills. They should be comfortable working independently and managing multiple competing priorities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must, as well as proficiency with productivity tools and software. Experience in a startup environment and familiarity with project management tools is a plus.

The required location for this candidate will be in one of the following timezones: PST, MST,  CST, or EST. The starting salary range for this role is $70,000 - $85,000 plus equity and is not location-based.


In this role, you'll be accountable for:

  • High-level coordination of incoming requests, questions, updates, and company needs to reduce the co-founders' workload and allow them to focus on more strategic tasks

  • Providing guidance and support to the organization, maintaining morale, and ensuring that goals and objectives continue to be met

  • Monitoring ongoing projects and initiatives, ensuring they are progressing as planned, and addressing any obstacles or delays that may arise

  • Facilitating communication with leadership to ensure the co-founders are aware of significant issues and providing regular status updates

  • Managing the co-founders' schedule and ensuring that they have adequate time for strategic thinking, planning, and execution

  • Streamlining the co-founders' meeting schedule by eliminating unnecessary meetings, creating clear agendas, and ensuring meetings stay on track and focused

  • Providing decision-making support by offering insights, recommendations, and alternative perspectives to help the co-founders make the best possible choices for the company

  • Offering support in managing the co-founders' personal and professional life, such as arranging travel, coordinating family commitments, or handling other logistics that may impact their work-life balance

  • Execution of tasks that would otherwise fall on a co-founder, either directly or via collaboration and delegation

  • Addressing any issues or crises that may arise and working with the appropriate teams to develop and implement effective solutions
